Random Scandal Sheet for Sunday 5/14/17

What southern Florida is talking about this week:

The giant rats of Pakistan.

And when they are mentioned, it's mostly in comparison about how it could be much worse.  Sure we have our Palmetto bugs (just a fancy word Floridians have for giant cockroaches), and our invasive iguanas (here in town) and eco-system destroying pythons (over in the glades).  Heck, for two years in a row, we've even had an overabundance of bears such that the state decided that a good number of them had to be turned into rugs and such.

But it could be worse.  Much worse.  Like giant-rats-of-Pakistan worse, where the rats come out at night to feast on kids and womenfolk (which makes them giant-misogynistic-rats-of-Pakistan I guess).  Rumor has it that the cat-size rats are weapons of war bred on American military bases and released as part of the war on terrorism ('cause people be paranoid yo!) ... but whatever the reason, locally it's now a war on rats.

So yes, Floridians, it could be worse.  Much much worse.

SO MILITARY RATS I GUESS:
