Random Soapbox for Saturday 8/18/18

I don't mean to go off on a rave here, but ...

[... and remember, one rave a month instead of ranting all the time on Saturdays is good for my heart and soul {and my bacon-grease-filled-heart can use any help it can get} ...]

... take the time now to locate and watch 'Every Brilliant Thing' (which I found on the HBO just recently, despite it apparently being around for years).

If, like me, you have a theatrical past (and I mean that literally, as I "did" theatre all through the 90's), you might enjoy the unique audience-participation theatre-in-the-round presentation.

OR if, like me, you have had to process all of the emotions surrounding suicides and attempted suicides multiple times in your life, you might find yourself drawn to the story that tells of a list of every "brilliant" thing (that's the British watered down use of the word "brilliant", but we'll accept it) that might make someone enjoy and appreciate their life (with an emphasis on the word "might", because real life and death gets quickly complicated).

Extremely powerful ... exceptionally impactful ... and definitely worthy of a rave ... find it, watch it, rue on it, appreciate it, and maybe understand the long lasting effects of mental illness (for all who are touched by the disease) just a little bit better.
