Gone but not forgotten: Jack E Leonard.
To be clear, he actually died around this time almost a half century ago back in 1973, but the thing is that I didn't even know he existed ... UNTIL Don Rickles passed away, and references were made to Jack, who was apparently the ORIGINAL insult comic.
Now it IS indeed sad that Mr. Warmth himself has gone forever cold ... but it is also sad that I was so uncultured as to not know of Jack E's existence. He may not have made it into a Pixar film, but let's give insult credit where insult credit is due.
He who said that he was from Chicago, where "kids play robbers and robbers", now that I know about you, you will be missed.
