JUST ONE MORE ... limerick (so as to laugh more) [February 2019]
JUST ONE MORE ... limerick (so as to laugh more).
Did you hear? This 'Just One More' concept to try to find a way to embrace incremental change in order to empower folks (or just me) to stay positive and solution-focused in a day and age where problems often seem insurmountable, control often seems out of reach, and apathy often seems to be running rampant is doing a "special year of more" for all of 2019!
Sure enough ... these monthly posts (and the weekly reminders about them over on the Facebook) will be about laughing more, loving more, living more and being happy more -- each in its own quarter.
After January's focus on cartoons, I thought it would be fun to turn to classic word poems in order to put a pause on all the outside noise and the anxiety it can cause in order to seek out something humorous -- something comical -- something that will tickle your funny bone and cause you to (at least momentarily) get lost in the sound of your own laughter.
You can find your own ... but I recommend you start with Ogden Nash ... or Edward Lear ... or Shakespeare ... or, if you're feeling frisky, the Man from Nantucket ... and I'll be sure to keep up the weekly reminders on the social media to keep you invested in finding ... just one more ... limerick (so as to laugh more).
