... a certain puppy dog who is deserving of recognition on this national dog day.
Or maybe you didn't hear the story of how therapy dog Fergie brought a 19 year old Florida girl out of the coma she had been in for five weeks after a horrific car accident, simply by her presence with her human for eight hours on that day recently when she "woke up".
Fergie isn't the first dog to miraculously rouse a coma'ed human (see additional link below/to follow for an earlier such case) ... and she likely won't be the last. And let me put it on record now that, should I one day be similarly situated, I fully expect all of you to ensure that I get visited by any and all of the animals in my house.
Here's to Fergie! (And here's to the long recovery still ahead for her person ...)
